Mission

Feeding the hungry in East King County in a caring environment with dignity and respect.

History

Renewal Food Bank began in 1998 and is an independent non-profit agency and a member of the Northwest Harvest and Food Lifeline hunger relief network. Over the years we’ve provided food security for over 350,000 individuals, and are currently serving nearly 250 families every week.

As always, we are dedicated to providing food to the most vulnerable in our community without regard to person’s religious beliefs, gender, or cultural or ethnic background. All are welcome.

Finances

Renewal Food Bank has a very modest operating budget (less than $100,000 a year) and yet we’ve been able to serve up to 250 families each week, that’s nearly 13,000 family visits a year! This is only possible because of the generosity of people like you. It literally takes a community of caring volunteers, businesses, churches and service organizations to keep the food bank going. We welcome and sincerely appreciate every donation, whether you volunteer, drop off food, or help us meet our monthly bills with a financial donation. Thank you for your help.
